Seattle - The Mariners could muster nothing against Rays ace David Price, although the Rays left the bases loaded twice late in this one, the Mariners could not break through and ended up falling 2-1. The Mariners only managed two hits off the lefty as Jesus Montero hit a solo shot in his first AB of the season, and Dustin Ackley led off the fifth inning with a double, but the Mariners could not bring him home. It was too bad because Seattle was getting an outstanding pitching performance of their own from Chris Young. However Wil Myers RBI Single in the sixth was enough to seal the Mariners fate in this one. They'll try and get the bats to bounce back again tomorrow against Matt Moore (5-2, 4.08 ERA) while being helped out by sending Felix Hernandez (3-4, 2.35 ERA) to the mound.
