Mariners walk off winners in 12th

Seattle - It took 12 innings, but the Mariners finally broke thru against the Royals, putting together back to back wins, as Dustin Ackley walked the Mariners off in the 12th with a solo home run. Both teams pitching was outstanding allowing just two runs thru the first 11.2 innings, but an 0-2 mistake from Tim Collins proved to be the difference as Ackley took it the opposite way, just barely over the wall for the game winner. Now the Mariners will look to complete the series victory today. It will be a tough task as they face the scorching Bruce Chen (5-1, 2.31 ERA) in the finale while countering with Erasmo Ramirez (0-1, 9.00 ERA).
