Astros sweep aside Mariners with 5 hit shutout

Seattle - The Seattle Mariners again couldn't stifile the hot hitting Astros, and this time the offense did nothing to help the matter as the Mariners suffered a three game sweep at home that moved them back into a tie with Houston. After holding the Astros to a 1-0 margin thru three innings disaster came in the fourth as the Astros lit up Hisashi Iwakuma, who struggled with control all day. The Mariners offense was almost non exsistent accumulating just one hit until the seventh inning, then scattering a few more singles throughout the rest of the game. The Mariners now get a very much needed day off before welcoming the Texas Rangers to town, whom they took 3 of 4 from last week. The Rangers willsend Colby Lewis (3-1, 2.42 ERA) to the mound to face James Paxton (2-1, 3.33 ERA).
