2014 Seattle Seahawks Week 4 Preview and Power Rankings
Posted on October 16, 2013 at 10:37 PM.

The Seahawks travel to Heinz Field to face their Super Bowl XL nemesis the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. These are definitely not the Steelers from years past however as age has caught up to Pittsburgh, and has slowed them down the last couple of seasons.

Game Notes
Seattle and Pittsburgh are tied 8-8 all time against each other, but it's 9-8 Steelers if you count their win in Super Bowl XL. The teams have met twice since that game with the Steelers winning both match-ups while not allowing a point to be scored in either.

Players to Watch:

Offense:

Ben Roethlisberger - QB: Big Ben has been the one mainstay on the Steelers offense. He has lost an armory of weapons through the years, but still manages to produce at a high level.

Defense:

Troy Polamalu - SS: Much like Big Ben. Polamalu is the mainstay on the defensive side of the ball for Pittsburgh. He's lost some steps over the years, but is still, when healthy, one of the best in the league at his position.

Prediction: After a couple weeks of playing young teams, the Hawks now face a team full of aging veterans. Heinz Field has been a house of horrors for the Seahawks over the years, but these are not your daddy's Steelers. They are sporting a putrid offense the first three weeks, and the Seahawks defense is definitlely not interested in letting them get back on track against them. Seattle should be able to shut them down, and their youth will wear out Pittsburgh in the second half.
