PLAN ALL ALONG?

Seattle uses rushing attack to wear down Cardinals in 2nd half. Pull away for 31-13 victory.

Seattle - It was not a gameplan that was easy on the eyes. It even had fans at CenturyLink Field booing the hometown team at times in the first half, but in the end it proved to be the perfect strategy to employ, as the Seahawks ran the ball 46 times, and wore down the Cardinals defense for a convincing 31-13 win on Sunday. The first half was not pretty to say the least as the Seahawks offense looked absolutely lethargic. Russell Wilson again seemed out of groove, but did not make as many mistakes as he did last week. Save for one red zone interception, and after rookie QB Aaron Murray hit Larry Fitgerald with a big play towards the end of the half. The Seahawks went into the locker room being shut out 10-0, and to a chorus of boos from the hometown faithful, but in the 2nd half the groundwork laid paid off, as the Seahawks took the opening kickoff of the half, and ran the ball right down Arizona's throat for a score. The Seahawks controlled the football for the majority of the half, passing sparingly, and not having to punt one time as by the time the 4th quarter came along, Marshawn Lynch was bowling over the Cardinals tired defense like they were a pee-wee squad, and in the end the crowd at CenturyLink cheered again as their Hawks came out victorious. The Seahawks now hit the road hoping to make this trip a lot more successful than their first as they head to Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday.

Player of the Game:

Marshawn Lynch - HB: Lynch probably made a lot of fantasy owners happy people on Sunday as he racked up a gaudy 216 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the way for the Seahawks.
