2014 Seattle Seahawks Week 3 Preview and Power Rankings
Posted on October 16, 2013 at 03:13 PM.

The Seahawks return home after a disappointing road loss in St. Louis to take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks have dominated the Cardinals as of late, but this is a new team with highly touted rookies leading the way. The Cardinals are coming off of a very impressive win themselves, and their young players would like nothing more than to shock the world on Sunday.

Game Notes
The all-time series between the two teams is dead even at 15-15, but the Seahawks have taken the last three from Arizona in convincing fashion with a combined score of 154-24.

Players to Watch:

Offense:

Aaron Murray - QB: The Cardinals "other" first round pick. Murray has looked sharp in his first two starts as a pro, especially last week where he was able to dismantle a pretty good Cincinnati Defense.

Defense:

Jadeveon Clowney - DE/OLB: The overall #1 pick in last year's draft. Clowney has shown an ability already to get to the QB at this level. The Seahawks will need to be very wary of the pass rusher on Sunday.

Prediction: A week ago I would have thought this game would be closer, but the Seahawks are going to be feeling awfully salty after an embarrassing loss to the Rams last week. Look for them to make a point against a team they've had no problem dismantiling the last few seasons. The Cardinals have a great young core, but this is a huge step up in class for these players. Seattle should handle this fairly convincingly
