Seahawks roll Panthers 37-13



Charlotte - The Seahawks ran for 267 yards as a team, Marshawn Lynch found then endzone 3 times by himself, and the Seahawks cruised to an opening day victory on the road at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers defense which ranked in the Top 10 against the run last year had no answer for the constant pounding delivered by the Seahawks. They ran the ball a total of 38 times posting an impressive 7.0 yards per carry clip. The Panthers also were able to do some things on the ground, but the Seahawks defense was able to hold before they got in scoring range most of the day. Cam Newton could not get the pass attack going at all against Seattle's stout secondary, and the Panthers had trouble putting points on the board. Next up for Seattle is the huge showdown with San Francisco Sunday Night at CenturyLink Field.
