The way I see it, 2K has pretty much perfected sim basketball gameplay, but by no means have they perfected the entire sim basketball experience. That's why I think that, because I'm sure they've already started production on 2K12, the sooner we get our recommendations in, the longer they have to work on them, and therefore, the better they are. Before I give my ideas, just know that I think this is one of the best games ever. Period.
-The crowds/all non-players. I hate watching Kobe getting a nice and-1, then looking over at the crowd with all of them looking like Elite players.
-I think that, although they did a tremendous job this year with player differentiation, there are just a few things that could make it 100x times better. For example, they should have Nate Robinson always play full court d, or Ray Allen stay less than a foot away from his guy.
-All the small features; the White House visit, the Championship celebration, etc. Just a little work on these would make for a much better game.
-Last but not least, more accurate art/arenas/etc. You have no idea how many times I see people say that they're really pissed that the half-court line is the wrong color, or the shorts aren't the right length. If 2K fixed these things too, it would only make it better.
I, for one, would not be mad at all, if 2K spent this coming year doing nothing on the gameplay, but touching up on everything else. Honestly, I think that it would help them sell a few hundred thousand more copies. But what do you think? What should 2K do for 2K12? Or is it too early?
