From what I have seen with maddens progress this year I am getting pretty excited about next years college football game. I know the new one is not even out yet but if NCAA adopts the presentation features from madden and adds Pro tak, next years game could be pretty serious.
Youve already brought back create a school. Thankyou.
Now just add fans rushing the field, Bowl patches on uniforms, Halftime shows with annoucers and stats, and a little more college presentation and you may just have an NCAA games that scores in the 9's instead of being a 7.5 to a 7.9 evrey year.
What would make NCAA 11 top notch tell me what you think homies.

I really doubt the NCAA would let them have fans rushing the field as great as it would be after a big win. They already look down upon it in real life when it happens. Would be nice though.

I think EA actually put fans rushing the field into the game years ago and were ordered to remove it. Both the NCAA and the NFL have a lot of input as to what the teams can or can't do.

Great point, Rudy. That's also why you no longer see late hits in Madden. I remember when you could tackle people after the whistle in the Genesis days. Sometimes I think these leagues are a bit disingenuous when it comes to their image in video games. Remember when fighting was banned from the NHL games for a couple of years? If you're so concerned about it, ban it in real life as well.

that would be sweet with fans rushing the field. To add on to that at the end of games they need better animations. At the end of a game and you go into a Prevent defense then once they swat it away they start shaking there head but they just won the game? that could be improvved and gatorade on the coach would be just cute (like 04)
Also someimes the announcers at the end of the game dont make sense eithier. lets say theres 1 second left and you kick the field goal to win it, theyll say "i cant believe he made that!" (which is fine) "he better stop celebrating cause they still have to kickoff". uh no they really dont.
What else would be cool is if they had them walk out the tunnel with the fans around like most teams do or come out of the smoke like miami iowa state and other teams.
They should also make picture 1080p cause i know they can.
Head coaches and assistant coaches would be a nice touch like in ncaa basketball 09.
some actuall in game things that would be nice are, better spirals, ball carrying, catching (usually they do a good job there) and updated rosters would be huge.
cause great example shoon greene last year, his overall was like 83. if they couldve updated that it would be like 94 maybe.
these are some of my ideas if i was making 2011 cant wait for 2010 though!

Cant say I feel the sameway. It seems the implement maddens features the next year but dont tweak them to work like they did in madden. Its like being served raw food. They say
Ncaa Dev: "you hungry? Heres some food"
You: "I cant eat that, Its raw!"
Ncaa Dev " Well, I have to feed you so dont say I didn't give you any food.''
Its there just so they can say its there.

aimiami, I feel the same way about the updated roster thing. I really wish they would update it based off of performances throughout the season. No reason why Georgia should have had 99 ratings all during the season. A lot of other schools need rating changes as well.

Actually the fans rushing the field was on a non EA college football game (Segas "College Footballs National Championship). I also remember you could celebrate by either spiking the ball or taking off your helmet and you'd get penalized for each.
What I really want in a College football game is the feeling that I'm playing College Football. Why not spend as much time on the dynasty presentation as they did on the Campus Legend. Scrap Campus legend and give me a pre-season show, pre and post game happenings and so on. Each College town is different and I think EA has done a real poor job making each college town seem as amazing as each one is. What ever you see in a college game I want in the game (they do say if it's in the game it's in the game right?).

i know they cant use players name (which is dumb cause you can just get them off ea locker) but still you should be able to do that

And why are we getting excited about features that should have already been there??

I've got a couple things I'd like to see.
First of all... no more Ben Haumiller and EA needs a brand new development team for 2011 much like madden this year.
Then there are a few things I'd like to see for NCAA '11.
1. GET THE SIMPLE STUFF CORRECT. For god's sake, please. Why is this so much to ask? For example... a rotating football on PS3 replays, CORRECT or as correct as possible rosters. Sliders that actually damn work. This sort of junk is literally inexcusable.
2. Correct priorities. This series NEVER seems to have their priorities correct. I am not alone in this sentiment, but I am sick of seeing new features implemented when the core gameplay is completely broken. I don't care about campus legend if it's not fun to play because of suction blocking and no pass rush.
3. Teams that actually play like their real-life counterparts. Although, in order for this to happen, EA would have the get O-line and D-line interactions correct.
4. OL/DL interaction. This cannot be overstated enough and this should be the NUMBER ONE thing to work on. How many years do we have to ask for this before it actually gets done? In every off-season, every single football coach in America focuses on Blocking and Tackling to win football games. EA needs to focus on that to make a good football game. It's as simple as that. As soon as the pass rush is fixed, the game will be INFINITELY better.
5. I could care less whether or not refs are on the field or not and whatever, I just want a football game that FEELS like football. Fix your physics, and if I see one more QB throw a bullet with laser-like accuracy while running full-speed away from the play in this game, Something in my living is going to get broken, it's too bad it can't be a developers head.
So yeah, I don't mind the game right now, just the damn little things need to get fixed. And Pass Rush and Run blocking are the TWO MOST IMPORTANT aspects of ANY football coach's ideal for a good team. So why aren't they priorities for these guys?

What progresses in Madden, doesn't necessarily translate to NCAA the following year. I wish it did, but it's not the case. Just look at Madden 09 and NCAA 10.
