Roster updates suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Online Support and Updates are a huuuuge part of the game and 2k is failing miserably. Way too many unrealistic alley oops. Can't wait for Live to revive the franchise and offer much needed competition

better than average current sports games out now

I give this a 9 out of 10 simply because of the obvious oversights on the offline gameplay and AI Association logic.

I wish they didn't add black arms to like every hidden player.

my game has frozen in the my career home menu every time i try to play a game now. im in my third season with the hornets have just signed a 5 yr contract extension and now i can't play it because it freezes when ever i try to play a game HELP!!!!!!! i have a video on youtube showing the freezing please help. The video is called "nba 2k13 my career 3rd year freeze"

I love it. So far the best game in the series. I'm having a really nice time in the different modes and the NBA Today mode just rocks.

This game actually has me wanting to pick it up.

I have never played a game as smooth-flowing as this is. It feels beautiful to play, if that makes any sense. This is the greatest improvement over previous iterations of the series. The animations that are in the game are almost always excellent, though they sometimes trigger at terrible times. More than once I've had someone block a shot that falls to the ground while the blocker is stuck in an animation. This sort of thing has always been in sports games, but is not an excuse. I have experienced more glitches in this game than in past 2K games, some game-breaking (scoreboard disappearing, unable to inbound the ball). Association mode is hard to have fun with after year 2, thanks to tendencies and ratings of incoming and developing players. Also, the inclusion of the MyPlayer blacktop feels like it's mocking me. The idea of being able to play with your created player is an amazing one, yet we are forced to play an offense dominated style that is practically decided when someone has a 90+ three-point rating.
