Not a buy for me until they fix some glaring issues. Most importantly the inability to change players jersey numbers to avoid duplicates. Looks promising if they build off this for Madden, I can wait until then with NCAA and soon to be NHL and Fifa.

Love the physics engine, has a lot of bugs but still a massive upgrade over scripted tackles. CC is different but still on the fun level of Franchise Mode. I miss the player editing (especially for switching a players position and jersey numbers), Its a bit more difficult then I expected and will take some time to get used to. I'd also like the ability to switch my coaches default playbook and Schemes. I also would like the return of UDFAs at the beggining of preseason now the Potential-Rating system has been thrown out and replaced with one that more realisticly is based off On-field results. Drafting and Scouting is much more of a challenge now that you have to match up your prospects with your coaching and player schemes (HINT; SORT PLAYERS BY SIZE RATING AND THE PLAYERS WITH RATINGS IN THE 90s ARE MUCH MORE LIKELY TO BE A FIT WITH YOUR TEAM.) I noticed a couple of bugs in CC where it would cause my game to freeze so thats bad.

Might have been a good game, but completely full of little bugs. I didn't even bother to write them down, there are so many. If they do not get to work pronto to fix this game It will join NCAA FOOTBALL 13 being deleted from my hard drive.

Let's start with the one thing that has been wrong with this game for at least 10 years- In All Pro user and CPU are even Steven, All Madden user is HALF the skill level of CPU. HALF. Ridiculous.

I have read ALOT of User Reviews on this game. Many are way off-base. What is really sad here, is that the Base Gameplay, really is not all that bad. And, if you have a really good HD Set and use an HDMI Cable, the graphics are really beautiful. (I have an old 360 with a component cable connected to an LG LCD and a new 360 with an HDMI cable connected to a newer LG LED tv. HUGE difference.)

Incorrect comments I have seen:
Cannot Edit Players - Wrong, yes you can, but you need to do it prior to starting Career.
Cannot change Uniforms - Wrong, the option is provided prior to starting the game, you cannot create uniforms and save them from my experience.

There are alot of things I do not like about Madden 13, but the most prominent, INEXCUSABLE is the severly LACKING Presentation. No halftime show (what?), no postgame show (what, what?), make for one boooring snoozefest.

Beyond that, my biggest complaint is that, while there is a Franchise/Career Mode, you cannot control the return of Past Greats? Old players, old coaches, etc. Why?

I really really wish you did not have to make the extra inputs to move your line, make adjustments, etc. There have been good control setups to do this for years, why not just use one that is already good.

Here is the small stuff: Practice - boring and time consuming, only for the most hardcore, kicking is too zoomed out and I swear the resolution is terrible, no Camera Controls? (really?)

I honestly like the Graphics and the Gameplay is really pretty good!

It is really pretty sad, this COULD have been a great game, but it is not. It is not worth your money. Rent it, try it first, and if you can live with all of the shortcomings (?) go out and buy it.

Missing too much to deserve a higher score

I love franchise mode and it sucks on the new game. gameplay is much improved

I love the game play and tyhe graphics are sick. But im going to miss Frachise mode and how the hell do i get a connected carrer stared. They put so much detail into the game they forgot to make it user friendly. And why did they quit putting insruction books in the game boxs i dont fill like calling someone or waiting on automated voice comps all the time. {PUMA}
