awesome game!

The game has potential, but it's not all realized

Fix Suction sacks, Superman LBs, Psychic DBs and Bullet pass trajectory. All very broken!

Good, not great. This whole generation is gonna be a bust.

NCAA Football 12 is better than 11, but the new tackling engine has added some new issues. There are absolutely 0 gang tackles. A guy might get stood up, but then when another tackler attempts a tackle himself the first guy completely falls off. The new engine gives you more realistic tackles, but it fails to include gang tackles which were first introduced only a few years back. However, the new HDR lighting looks incredible and the 3D grass adds just a little more realism to the most realistic football video game ever. The reason I don't give the game an 8.5 or higher, like OS, is because I find it nearly impossible to play this game without using sliders. The default difficulties either make the game frustratingly easy and boring or unbelievably difficult and artificial. The biggest problem I find is the LB having twice the vertical jump as the skill players. It makes it borderline impossible to pass (especially down the middle of the field) creating a frustrating and unrealistic experience. Other than the over the top difficulty and lack of gang tackles the game really shines at times, making me forget I'm actually playing a video game.

Really good game. Once the second patch comes out fixing some issues this score could go up to a 9.

Edited: Good game but not great. Quite a few bugs that need to be ironed out.

I still think they have a ton of room for improvement on Road to Glory.
