Best playing best looking football game enjoy it more with the Tomba Madden 12 Patch for 360

I think the game is pretty good.

Best offering in years but still something's missing. Some of the worst commentary out of this year's sports crop.

M12 is a good effort and would make a good foundation for further (and needed) improvements...hopefully, next year will finally be the start of a real revival for Madden.

I still couldn't figure out why so many people keep buying Madden year in, year out. Madden '06, the first next-gen appearance on XBox 360 back then, was such a huge disappointment to me that i stopped buying it from that day on. I used to read reviews and gamers opinions and realized quickly that the guys at EA didn't really want to work hard on the widely criticized edition of late 2005 in order to create a better and realistic game that was next-gen-worthy. They were convinced of the assumption that most of the hardcore fans still would buy their product - an assumption which has been confirmed up to this day - unfortunately. When i start thinking of Madden and EA, i start asking myself what and how much has actually been added, improved or taken out of the previous edition since 2005. The list is very, very short. The game basically has been the same since the first release on XBox 360. Tackling is still bad, the whole offensive line thing is still ridiculously unrealistic and points out the same weaknesses like years ago. The running and walking animations are robotic, ugly and not worthy of an officially licensed NFL product. The basic things that make a great NFL simulation are still missing. Madden could actually be so much better than it has been in years, but the guys at EA don't see any reason why they should rework this game. As long as people keep buying this very mediocre wanna-be sim, EA will stick to their "minimum-effort-policy". As long as gamers are going to be happy and overwhelmed because of 3D-grass, EA will continue to do almost nothing for their money. I love football, but i hate EA's philosophy. But i don't primarily blame them for the situation: the gamers are the ones who should get criticized for all that. They're bitching, moaning and complaining, but in the end they're the ones who storm the shops in order to get their copies like the year before and the year before and...

I think madden12 is ok but somethings need patching to make it better.
