What ever happened to have the option to save a game in progress?

The animations are much improved from the QB throwing motion to the running back cuts to the catches and the tackles. The graphics and lighting are down right amazing IMO. Helmets glisten in the sun, and the lighting just looks real. Gameplay is overall very fun.

The things that keep this game an 8 are:

Ranked games not counting if the other person quits: So damn frustrating. Beating a guy 21-0 in the 2nd quarter? He'll have the satisfaction of quitting and making sure at least you don't get the win. Drive down in a tied game and get in field goal range with 5 seconds left? He may still get the loss, but at least you don't get the win.

Clairvoyant DBs: There has to be a way to simulate a real life passing game and making it challenging without having the DBs run the routes before the receiver does. Getting ready to make a pass because you know your receiver is about to cut? Whoops, so does the cornerback. Pick.

Overpowered run game online vs other users: Certain formations are just too easy to pick up 5 yards out of, especially to the outside as defenders come right into blocks and do not try to string the runs to the outside.

Playcalling screen: Not only are you displaying less plays per page, it takes longer to scroll through, and the screens are laggy to boot all adding up to a frustrating flurry to select the play you want, even if you already know where it is.

Overall the game looks and plays very well. It definitely has a new and different feel to the game this year. But there's always room for improvement, and it wouldn't be EA if they didn't make a couple of unnecessary changes to break things and frustrate you.

I really love this years NCAA title but really disappoints me is season showdown has been down for a while. And like i read in the review i would love to see the jerseys get dirty thats football .After each game i play i just shake my head beacause the jerseys are so clean like they havent even played a football game.It really makes a difference makes the game more enjoyable hope they put a patch out for that THX.

This game has really stepped it up from last year. My one gripe....and it is a big one....The option is still uber effective and I hate it. It is the one reason i will not buy this game because everyone and their mama is going to run the option all day every day..... it kills the game for me...
