Edited: I guess I'm just not as concerned with hyper-realism when it comes to baseball games. I can understand to an extent as I'm that way with hockey games, but at the same time I think the OS community is a little too crazy when it comes to baseball games. I have 2k7 and it was ok when it came out and it's pretty bad now. 2k8 I rented and ended up returning early, but with 2k9 I'm having an amazing time with it thus far.

patch made it much better....It's the best baseball game on the 360

The game is fun to play, but there are too many issues to consider it a great baseball game. for 2k10, the devs need to step up and fix the fundamental problems. even patches can't fix the mess this game is.

Series has gone downhill since 2k7.

I think people are buying into the negative hype. It's a good game of baseball. There are some issues that hopefuly will get fixed with a patch. I have played around 20+ games and really enjoy this game. It has a "fun factor" 7.5 pre patch, hopefully 8.5-9.0 post patch

luv the graphics and gameplay is not bad, seen better but not bad! my hang up is in franchise mode the game completley freezes up and I have to reboot the system. It freezes when season is loading, in the middle of gameplay and when games are simulating! Is there any way around this mess? If not I will be running to the store to exchange for the Show 09! Help anyone!

when the ai batter influence is fixed....can't wait this is a fun game

One point for decent graphics; .5 point for halfway decent presentation. As a baseball game, zero. I think this is too far gone to be fixed in a patch.

I gave it a chance and traded the game back in 3 days. Good graphics and commentary, and the franchise mode seemed functional, but the gameplay is broken.

Fielding is nearly impossible in the outfield as I've had fly balls and line drives bounce off my fielders face and shoulders. Also the slowdown the fielders have when they approach a fly ball has lead to way too many balls dropping in front of me that I should have caught.

Pitching is way too easy; you can throw a pitch anywhere you want with near perfect accuracy. Bring back meter pitching!

Online is nearly unplayable also, as every fastball that is thrown in the strikezone will at least be hit for a double, if not a home run.

Good game but could be alot better there are also alot of bugs that need to be fixed
