Easily a 10. I am addicted to this game. It is clearly the front runner when it comes to MLB games, and the realism is unreal.

I bought the Show 09 last night and noticed something that has been bothering me about the franchise for a while. When fielding, your throwing power is noted by colored "rings" underneath the throwing player. MLB 2k and the old MVP series used/use the throwing meter instead.

I've found that you can hold down the specific throw button or tap it but the rings don't seem to accurately reflect how much power you are trying to put into a throw. It feels to me like it is predetermined.

Am I crazy? Am I using the feature incorrectly? Am I correct that the longer you hold onto the button the more power/less accuracy there should be in the throw?

I think this is something that the developers should be easily able to fix. This is what Madden has used for years with QB throws - i.e. if you tap the button, the throw is a lob and if you hold it down you throw a bullet which ends up going directly into the ground.

In any case, this aspect of the game doesn't seem to flow - it feels like every throw is the same frozen rope every time.

Totally awesome!!!!! It has everything that a pure baseball fan needs!!!

Perhaps the most realistic sports gaming experience I have ever had. This is a truly remarkable game.

This is going to be the best baseball game!

.5 point deduction because of the fact I won't have easy access to a PS3.

Other than that, probably the best sports game on the market right now.

Best MLB game ever created. I already pre-ordered. Can't Wait!!!!

Last year was the first time I not only played the Show but I had never even heard of it before. I guess I was always a blind 2k/EA guy. After playing the 08 demo though I was hooked....best sports game, period!

Edited: '08 was the best baseball game I've ever played. '09 can only be better, right?
