This game was a HUGE leap over the previous atrocity in 2K6 on the 360.

Still a decent playing and looking game, and should be what they base 2K10 off of with all the new presentation features.

I don't know what happened the past two games (2K8/9), but this should have been the template to build off of. Refine what you have, before you worry about adding things for a PR Fact Sheet.

Neither too good or too bad, but the first true next generation baseball game (not better than MVP 2005, except graphics)

Edited: MLB 2k7 is a very fun and entertaining baseball experience. By no means does it match the final MVP baseball put out for the xbox. But we're talking xbox 360 here and do to MLB 2k8, and MLB 2k9 in my mind sucking, MLB 2k7 is still the cream of the crop in baseball gaming when it comes to the 360. One down fall is the arcade style play, but thank god for slider which help make this a simi sim style baseball game.. Its may 05-2009 and i'm now writing this review. I mentioned that because i'm still choosing 2k7 over 2k8, 2k9.

Solid effort. But the series tanked after this game.

Nice first step to rectify the series. The issue I have with this game was the dumb lineup issue in all modes other than exhibition.
