The only game I play right now, and the only game that I've consistently played the past 2 years. If APF didn't exist, I'd probably not play video games at the moment.

Overall a solid game of football that doesn't need to rely on the hype of the NFL license to be fun. An interesting challenge in building a competitive team that fits your style of gameplay. It feels a little dated in terms of visual and audio, but the gameplay has features with which Madden is only just catching up.

NFL2k5 was Jordan retiring after the shot. APF2k8 was Jordan with the Wizards

Some of the coolest Stadiums ever!

Good game play but the HOF gimmick bogged down replayability

this game could have been an all-time if it was more customizable and had franschise

APF 2K8 is a fun game, especially online. Makes me think what NFL 2K9 would look like...

A very solid effort. It's not 2K5 but is definately worth a purchase. The replay value is very high if you like online gaming.

Completely missed the train without having any type of extended management system or franchise. Not even consecutive seasons. That is it's greatest flaw.
Hard for a user to become attached or involved with the game when he has no off-season or player progression/degression to look forward to.

I still play this game. The 2k series has always been on top.
