Edited: probably 'good'; still unable to get over the hump...

The game has no presentation and is dull and lifeless, just like the past 10 years. The character sprites are detailed and all is cosmetically fine, the gameplay looks fine as well. EA has no clue how to make this game pop and come alive. Hell, they don't look excited to score a touchdown! All these years, and 2K5 is still superior.

player movement is still scripted and robotic...ball physics are horrible...players move too fast for movements they are attempting to make........same old madden.

old gen: the same game as M25, just a roster update

next gen: i have yet to play on the next gen consoles, but what i saw didn't look too promising

Nothing has changed under the hood, so to speak. Just be the videos, you can still see most of the legacy problems that plagued Madden from last gen, and the dated animations, as well.

The only way to get a better game on this generation is to build it from the ground up. I don't think there are nay if, and or buts about it. This is a glorified last generation port that really needs to stay last gen. EA is going to continue building Madden for last generation until the end of its life, and that is fine, but the new generation needs to be a new game, completely.

I just got finished playing a bit of NCAA 14. Sure, the graphics are dated and there are some game play flaws, but I actually enjoy playing more than I do Madden 25...and I don't even watch or follow college football that much. %uFEFF

This years game looks & flows much better than last years. Love being able to change Camera Angles on the fly. Enjoyed that feature on NBA 2K12.
