Not being negative or trying to stir **** up, but Oba Femi is the perfect example of how you wrestle when you are a big man. Just pure brute force, strength and charisma not wasting energy/time trying to wrestle like a smaller guy.

WWE acquires AAA in Mexico!

Looks like instead of the NXT Mexico idea they had before the pandemic, it makes more sense just buying an established brand.

I could definitely see them having Mysterio, Penta and Fenix doing a match over there.

Just realized with WWE buying AAA, does this mean they now own footage of Kenny Omega matches and Omegas title reigns are in a way part of WWE now? Similar with Young Bucks too.


Also, in addition to the AAA PLE they're doing, MITB is airing in LA that same night!

Cole occasionally mentions how he "has a few more years left" which does make me wonder how much longer he'll be around, at least on tv. Maybe he'll just transition fully into a backstage producer role since he's already in charge of the commentators, announcers and refs too I think.

His 30th year with WWE would be summer of 2027, maybe that's when he "hangs it up"?

And speaking of revelations during WM weekend, Bayley revealed in an interview that she has the original NXT women's title (yes, the very one that got replaced months after certain pictures came out...)

Guess nobody in WWE wanted to keep or touch that belt, or add it to the archives, but just get rid of it asap? It's definitely going to be a valuable title even more in the future given how the 5 women who held that title are all future hall of famers and the start of the women's evolution.

Oba Femi has "it" for sure. I hope he's not one of those "prominence based on dominance" guys on the main roster though. Once you lose that it's rough.

Rock appeared on McAfee's show today and it was pretty telling in how things went down and why he didn't appear. He said he wanted the focus on Cena and not him, and says he would have approached the finish of the match differently, I take it he didn't like the Travis Scott interference either.

He also said he got a call to do Chamber after ticket sales were slow. It was Triple H's idea to turn Cena heel and Cena was all for it.

Ticket sales were low because the 500 level seats cost $200 (compared to $30-$40 for a premium Jays game).

Eventually they have to realize that...right? Bragging about highest grossing events is one thing, but that's also only because ticket prices are so high. Eventually you're gonna price out your fans.
