Can't add player to playoff roster (bug?)

Hey everyone,

I just made it to the playoffs in my fantasy draft franchise. My best player (Mookie Betts) finally came off the IL after being injured half the year. He's listed in the roster screen as being on the MLB roster, and he was on the MLB roster all year, however, when I go to add him to the playoff roster it tells me that he needs to be added to the 40-man in order to join the playoff roster. I have no idea how he got removed from the 40-man, but since I can't manipulate the 40-man once the playoffs begin I'm seemingly stuck with Mookie inactive.

Anyone else encounter this and know of a fix?

Was he on the 60 day I.L? Putting someone on the 60 day I.L. takes them off the 40 man roster. However, once they come off, they should immediately go back on the 40 man roster.

Did he come off after the season was over?

EDIT: Putting them on the 60 day I.L. SHOULDN'T remove the player from the 40 man roster, but he doesn't count against it, and it allows you to add someone to it.

The issue could be that you have a full 40 man roster now, and him coming off the I.L. puts you over the limit, and because you are already in the post season, you cannot make changes to the 40 man roster.....Just spitballing here.

It's gotta be something like that; good call. I think I'll just make it my headcannon that Betts isn't ready to go for the playoffs and go on without him.
