I've got a couple questions,


1. How often does SDS update rosters?


2. Will there be an opening day roster update on opening day or shortly after?

I'd love to know too, as a Yankees fan, they're missing the following trades/waivers.

Jeisson Rosario off waivers from Boston
Miguel Castro for Joely Rodriguez from Mets
Jose Trevino for Albert Abreu(the other prospect isn't in the game)

I'm happy to see a lot of the top prospects in there, but they're missing quite a bit, missing a few Yankees top 30 from MLB.com.

1) Typically once a week.. usually Friday's. I was surprised to have a roster update at launch.

2) In the past the opening day update wasn't until a week after opening day. I can't say that won't change this year since there's already been 1 update already.

There is just not enough roster space. every player is real this year. can't really have everyone in the rosters.. you can just wipe all the stupid legends and put them in free agents though. be over 100 there of free slots

There was already a roster update? Did it replace obvious missing players like Cano etc.?

no that won't be till mid to late April when the season has started he needs to have had a at bat first then paper work done etc. so don't expect Cano and others to be in this weekend for opening day

It makes absolutely no sense for them to do year to year licensing. If guys have been in previous versions of the game, they should be in. Period. So stupid to have to jump through these hoops every season.

It’s fine to think this, but in reality it is not the agreement that the MLBPA has in place

This isn’t an SDS thing. It’s an MLBPA thing
