Corrupted data, lost all my offline files

Lost my MyNBA which was at the playoffs for my first 82 game season where I played every game. Lost all my shoe creations. Lost everything.

Xbox series S.

Anyone else have this issue?

Just at a loss with this game. Words can’t describe it. My second MyNBA lost due to the games bugs or whatever caused this.

Looks like I was able to salvage MyNBA files thankfully. Even though the game acts like it doesn’t recognize them. But the shoes are definitely gone so I gotta recreate those for the second time.

Take pictures of everything in this game to set up easier if sh*t crashes on you.

I saw somewhere somebody said that when it says your files are corrupted immediately exit to the dashboard and close out the game an then restart the game an fixes it.. he said his shoes an everything was there..I can't confirm this because I haven't experienced it yet..I know it's too late for you but that's what I hear is the work around.

Happens about once a month, but the files usually come back after a restart.

So basically don’t “accept” that files will be overwritten by pressing “ok”?

NO!!! As soon as you see it back out to the main screen on the Xbox or PlayStation. Then from the main screen your going to quit the program (nba2k). Once that is done restart the game and your files should be intact. Happened to me twice now and it worked both times .
