I did not hear him say that....he said (near the end of a stream specific to MTO and Franchise) that "Universal DH is in the game". I only listened to about 90% of it and I didn't hear him say "Universal DH is available in Play Now".

I'll be happy for you if it is in there...but...be careful....you might be setting yourself up for disappointment.

If I happened to miss it, can you point out the specific timestamp of the vid?

The only mention of universal DH is in the context of what was included from the new CBA. He also mentioned league minimums. Sounds like it is just those modes. Pair that with what Ramone said in the franchise stream that Ohtani can only be a pitcher or batter online and not both, makes it seem like this was only on reference to the MTO and franchise modes.
