Looking to get the fun back in playing nhl again that I just haven’t felt in previous years. Just wondering what ppl opinions are on previous years? Nhl 14 and 11 seam to come up a lot

This is a response I wrote for someone in regard to the NHL series. Same methodology applies here or for any other game. I share this response often. I answer this question maybe 10 times a year on several forums and on reddit, etc. Hope it's of some use to you.

2K had good ones and nhl faceoff also but for EA its gotta be 22 because of improved gameplay and Roster share .

NHL 2004, especially the Rebuilt version on PC is by far the best.

Was that the game that had an hour long Stanley Cup celebration maybe even longer than that, if so that was incredible.

Pretty much!
First game to have a celebration, handshake, passing of the cup, and even stats at the end. Really made you feel like you accomplished something. Soundtrack was killer too
