Realistic Injury Settings

Hi all,

I've tried tinkering with the injury sliders with no success. However, has anyone been able to get their game to have a realistic amount of injuries? As a in-depth franchise player, I want to lose my star, and have to worry about depth. One thing I have noticed is that QB's never get injured. I've modified the rating to around 70-80 ranges and have seen a few QB's injured which I find more realistic.

I know one suggestion would be to lower the ratings for every player, but wanted to see if there might be a quicker solution. Or if it is to lower the ratings are there settings that you have found successful to get the desired amount of injuries? In NCAA 14, the recommendation was to lower offensive players by 40 points, and defense by 50 and that seemed to work well.

CPU and HUM QB’s will not get injured unless there is at least 3 QB’s on the active roster

Just a note on QBs getting injured, it will not happen unless you have 3 qbs on the roster, the same is true for CPU and for simmed games.

Re: Realistic Injury Settings

For me with injuries at 50, I have been seeing great results. I usually have around 4 players out injuries for every game, and usually another 4 or 5 get hurt every game most return, but a lot of the times a couple don't and are out for multiple weeks.

It's funny that QB injuries were mentioned as in week 17 of my current season I was looking to wrap up the one seed for the playoffs when stunningly my QB went out down with a knee cartilage tear and is out for 6 weeks, i.e. the entire playoffs. I also lost my number one WR for month in that game.

Although I'd like a little more variety in which injuries keep players out for multiple weeks, too many are torn labrums, I'm satisfied with the amount this year in Franchise. The one practice injuries are also a nice addition IMO.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Oh wow, I had never noticed that before. I'm glad I had asked, does anyone know if there are other positional rules for other injuries?

Wow......I never knew it worked like that.....and that sucks.
People can literally keep their Franchise Quarterback healthy every year just by cutting the 3rd stringer.

What happened to everyone being vulnerable to the Injury Dice roll?? smh.

Re: Realistic Injury Settings

My QB got hurt (knee - 6 weeks) and I only had 2 total on the roster.

My brother played a game where he injured his opponents top 2 QB's (only two on the roster). Their punter ended up playing and went 4/7.

Those are the only QB injuries I've experienced out of dozens and dozens of games.

One note though: my QB was only injured after I edited his injury to 1 (was testing it and ended up forgetting to change it back). He still played over a full season+ before finally getting hurt.
