Re: Shot timing impact sliders?

My understanding is the slider increases or decreases how sensitive the game is to shot timing.

If you increase the slider and you miss the sweet spot by just a little, you are more likely to miss the shot. Shooting is less forgiving.

Conversely, if you decrease the slider you can miss the sweet spot and still have a good chance of making the shot. Shooting is more forgiving.

If you use Real Sooting % this slider has no impact for the user.

Anyone else, please correct anything I got wrong.

Can someone explain to me how real shot percentage works? Like if you have a 30% shooter and they are wide open, they have a 30% chance of making the shot? Or if you take ten threes, do they normalize it to where you're always gonna shoot 30%?

Just tried this change this past weekend and loved how it made the game more realistic and fun. Thanks!

Real Player % eliminates shot timing for USER.
You'll see it when Shot Feedback is ON (N/A).

If you want Real Player % for CPU, change the Shot Timing Impact slider for CPU to 0 and decrease following CPU shooting sliders by 4:
CPU Inside Shot Success -4
CPU Close Shot Success -4
CPU Mid-Range Shot Success -4
CPU 3PT Success -4
CPU Layup Success -4
CPU Alley-Oop Success -4
CPU Contact Shot Success -4
