A second-tier league to go along with a second-tier product.

Well maybe by this time next year the game will actually be in a playable state. I'm still rooting for Konami to turn it around, at this point I'm not hopeful. If they can good, more competition we have in the sports gaming market is always welcome.

As for the USL good for them. They seem to be on a path separate from the MLS. They are looking to play a schedule that resembles how Germany do it with the mid season winter break and also considering going to a Pro/Rel system. So if the game actually get a new version of Master League they could add in the USL League One teams as well. Some of the teams have some pretty strong fan bases. It's definitely an interesting partnership for both sides.

Also a fun side-note: Detroit City FC is joining the USL for the 2022 season and last year to keep the club going during the pandemic they allowed people to by shares in the team. I bought one so technically I own a tinnnnnnnnnnny part of a professional football club that is now maybe/probably going to be in a video game.

We're coming off like 3 consecutive NISA Championships but will keep you in mind if things take a turn.
