Too many cheats
It's so hard to like games by EA. The amount of cheats they have in their yearly products seems to grow with every new release and it's not like people don't recognize them - they are so obvious.
If they just directed the time and effort they put into creative cheat code into productive goals like making the games better you would probably have some really special offerings. That's the part that's puzzling - they prefer to implement cheat code over creating better gameplay.
You have to make so many slider adjustments just to make things bearable and even with all the adjustments you still can't get rid of the goofy stuff. Every year slider guys try to correct the same stuff but you really can't because it's actual cheat code that's embedded for reasons that are hard to understand. On the one hand EA puts all this time and effort into things like 10 man movement and machine learning technolgy but then they totally derail their own efforts with cheat code that makes every year's release the same as the last one. It's like they are sabatoging their own progress - just plain weird.
