Week 8 Discussion Thread

Starting off the week with the Cardinals going for 8-0 against the Packers who are currently riding a 6 game win streak into this game.

Packers will be without the services of some key players for this one but the most important one is still there so hopefully they can make this respectable at least.

Edit: Cowboys-Vikings is your Sunday Night matchup before finishing up the week with the Giants visiting the Chiefs.

Bengals @ Jets, feels like a trap game. Can't help but me pessimistic because of our history.

Don't know too many KC fans (odd) or what the mood is for them. If they don't absolutely trounce the Giants is the panic button getting hit?

Didn't think it would be during the summer, but Cards and Pack looks to be one of the biggest matchups of the season.

Re: Week 8 Discussion Thread

That sucks. Seems to happen to him a lot. This has gotta be the 3rd or 4th season ender for him.

The Chiefs defense has been abysmal and now the offense is getting a little more figured out, but they’ve lost to the Chargers, Bills, Ravens and Titans... basically a who’s who of the top contenders in the AFC. They beat the Browns (a good team) and manhandled the Eagles and WFT. I expect the same for another date with the NFC East. If anyone loses to the Giants they should hit the panic button.

As for TNF, it’s an Aaron... Jones game. He’s going off. I think the Pack catch ‘em. Stinks that GB won’t be at full strength. Even so, if the Cards win I’ll be more likely to jump completely on their train. I like them, but I’m not ready to crown them but maybe in ~17 hours I’ll be more convinced.

Bills get the Dolphins, this time in Buffalo, and we need to kick their asses again to wash out that MNF loss before last week’s bye. Squish the fish!

Re: Week 8 Discussion Thread

Watt's injury is devastating to AZ and likely kills their Super Bowl chances because that defense is going to be much worse now.

Re: Week 8 Discussion Thread

Chandler Jones is coming back though. Hate that they only had a few games together. Definitely a tough blow.
