Yes, it supports HDR and even Dolby Vision and you can play in season mode.

Great questions... I too only play in Season Mode and am very pleased that it's still in.
I am still hearing mixed opinions about the graphics... which is putting me off somewhat.
I am using the PS4... and would be quite satisfied if it looked like NHL21, but on YT all the footage seems to be of PS5?
Would love to hear from PS4 users about the visuals.

I played 21 quite a bit and had fun with it. Visually the game on my ps4 pro is marginally better, mostly the brightness. It’s a slight upgrade overall but find myself playing it more than FIFA at the moment
