Edit CPU uniform in franchise

So I’ve been battling this for awhile. I was told at the game selection screen with the controller on the home team and you hit edit uniforms. How do you edit the visiting tram uniform? When I hit edit uniform the options are current away and current home and then a bunch of classic options but only for the team I’m controlling. If I want to have the visiting team also wear throwbacks where is that option. I can’t for the life of me find it.

If you are playing a 32 franchise offline you will have to use two controllers I know it sucks I miss the old days before the cfm crap

Ugh. That’s misery. Do I then turn the 2nd controller off once I start the game?

I just tried it with 2 controllers and when I try and shut off the 2nd controller once I get into the game, the game makes me quit. So I’m assuming that there is no way to do this.

After you edit cpu uniforms move the controller back to the middle and start your game the uniform changes stick
