Windows Partition Question

A couple years back before Windows 7 support ended I partitioned 200GB of my 1.5 TB HDD to run on Windows 10. I still have the majority of my HDD dedicated to Windows 7 at this time although I rarely log into the partition running 7.

Is there a way to merge/convert the partition with Windows 7 into the partition with Windows 10 so my PC would be fully Windows 10? I'm trying to avoid a full backup and then complete re-install if possible.

Googled some but couldn't find a specific answer to my question. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Windows Partition Question

Not sure on the merging but I don't think it is possible unless they have new ways to do it.

You can wipe the partition and then enable windows 10 to use it just under a different drive letter. Look at splitting a drive to a windows install partition and a data partition. That should show you how to do it.
