Any Updates/Patches On The Way?

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before it I haven't found anything on our boards like I normally would but-

Has anyone heard if the Madden Developers are working on and nearing any patch/update work to the many bugs going on? (Mainly H2H giving you losses, Franchise game results & stats saving?)

Thanks, guys!

I would say tomorrow . If not big disappointment. Game shipped with missing equipment! One week in is plenty of time to update!

Re: Any Updates/Patches On The Way?

The only update EA has publicly promised so far is one dropping in September which adds the refreshed scouting feature to Franchise mode.

Generally speaking, any update which makes notable changes for users EA gives notes on the day it drops. Rare exceptions happen for emergency fixes (generally for things that are egregiously broken that affect online play such as widespread game desyncs or issues which severely impact MUT customers' ability to access the content they paid additional money for), in which case they will detail when the fix is coming a couple days before it shows up.

Quite the commentary on where offline players stand.

I think EA has correctly assessed that MUT customers who expect their cards they pay for in a timely fashion and online league players who expect 100% server uptime are more important than offline players.

That’s why offline franchise has been last to get updates and patches for many years now. It sucks for offline players, but this isn’t exactly news either. If you want Franchise updates faster, always use cloud Franchise (which I understand means you have to sacrifice 32-team control and I respect that that is not nothing).

i have tried to get on UT i got the MVP edition and has not worked since Thursday plus for me to get in the game i have to wait until it loads then turn off my network for .5 sec before the game will get in the main menu but that is my slow net more than likely

EA did some research and came up that 60% (I believe was the number) were offline players. And they were putting an emphasis on that this year. They talked the talk, I would like to see that energy for offline

Oh it’s definitely nothing new.

My bigger issue with online Franchise is that server (or my own internet) hiccups can cause games to have never happened. Have they fixed that, where if my internet disconnects in the middle of a game I can finish the game and in registers, or no?

Either way, I’m holding off till the scouting update. That’s about the only thing I’m really looking forward to.
