Does monitor height affect your hitting?

After years of playing the show with my tv on a stand that sat at or just above my eye level while sitting, I am playing on the same tv now mounted higher on the wall.

I don't seem to be reading or timing the pitches as well. Maybe the angle 'distorts' the read of the pitch.

Anyone else made this transition with success?

Re: Does monitor height affect your hitting?

It is of my opinion that I think it does for the high or low pitches.

I always play at eye level but angles are indeed everything.
when I sit off to the left or right, my hitting is atrocious.
doesn't seem to affect my pitching though.
when I'm not aligned, I'm Mario Mendoza but with correct alignment I'm,
well, I'm never Ted Williams, but I'm also no longer Mendoza either.

the only reason I sit off to the left or right is for comfort/ convenience.
but when it comes time to get down to brass tacks & the game hangs in the balance, I'm front & center.
maybe I'd eventually get used to an off-center alignment but since realignment is easier & simple
(and more palatable than losing) I just sit up and take notice
