We're a day away from the draft

A lot of us were thinking this would be a weekend where 2k may give us more news given it's a big weekend for the NFL and the game cannot be too much further away.

Are you still expecting any news this weekend? Does your opinion on the upcoming game(s) change any if no news is received during the draft?

I believe this is going one of two directions.

They are going to present an arcade-type game that aligns with the look of the wrestling title they released recently...

Or they have been working on something for some time now; in anticipation and awareness that an opportunity was going to present itself for them to release a somewhat sim football game.

Either way, I'll be happy.

I think it's the second one. They probably been slowly building the last 2K model. But no art or copyright stuff. I could imagine gameplay has to be beefy.

Or the flip side is that literally left it in the dark for all these years.

The draft kinda sneaked up on me. I don't really think we'll be getting anything during the draft.

I'm not expecting anything from 2k or even Madden tonight. Earliest I expect is around E3 . In a full pandemic development cycle, I expect publishers don't want to show anything until closer to release
