PCI Disappearance?

Basically, for some reason, when I am hitting, I don’t have PCI at all even though in my settings I have it on. I’m wondering if anyone has had this supposed issue for MLBTS 20 and 21. I bring up TS20 because at the beginning of that cycle, I had PCI and it was cool. But then at some point, it disappeared on me even though I didn’t change any settings regarding gameplay.

For more context: this started happening after I had to reset my PS4 due to a storm back in July/Aug. So I had to reset my settings (and forgot what they usually were) back then. So after the PS4 reset, I started doing HOF difficulty and that’s when I noticed the PCI missing.

But for TS21, I am using Dynamic All-Star and my settings have been pretty consistent (Directional hitting, everything else is default).

Anyone else having this issue and is there something I can do to fix it?

Re: PCI Disappearance?

Do you have zone hitting on instead of analog? I believe that is what brings the PCI back

I don’t believe Directional hitting uses the PCI.

I had Directional hitting on last year and also had the PCI. Whether they changed that throughout the year, idk. Also, I would think that the PCI in the settings would be locked if that was the case.

PCI Disappearance?

I looked at the settings and when you have PCI on while using directional it only then provides the arrows indicating what you are influencing (push, pull, fly etc). So if you saw the round PCI with the three dots in the middle while hitting before then you were using Zone prior to your reset.

I’ll double check to make sure. Thanks!
