PS4 and PS5 save files

Is it possible to play a franchise save file on both a PS4 and PS5 back and forth? For example play a franchise game in the Show 21 on the PS5, then save it, move the save file to a PS4 and load the save file to play the next game?

I remember a forum post last year suggesting it may be possible but not definitive.

I do believe Ramone said that you can play the same save on both PS4 & PS5. Same with Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Iay have heard it differently than what I'm thinking. Bc I honestly don't know how it'd work if you created a stadium on next gen and are using that stadium in a franchise, and then continue that save on current gen. Maybe someone can clear it up

If you save your file in the cloud, you should be able to move it back and forth between the consoles. Ramone mentioned cross-gen and cross-platform where you can take your saves and play on all consoles.
