Attribute Effects Sliders ?? why 5?

Looking at sliders I see many have Attribute Effects 5. WHY? Would 10 be so much better than a 5 when looking at realism?

cause I spoke with NHL Developer not to long ago, he said 5 is best for balanced stats, if u go with 6-10 , stats are not balanced and stuff and 1 player takes all goals and stuff, I do this every year, I travel to EA Sports he gives real answers, what he said about 6-10, stats are unbalanced and unequaled. and not realistic.

AE above 5 makes finding the "sweet spot" for other sliders a lot more complicated imo. This game barely has functioning sliders (ex. speed glitch) and I think AE changes things on a fundamental level way too much for this game to handle.

So for realistic stats 5 is the sweet spot? I only bring this up as I'm new to this game and my one drafted star Marchand (91) does crap LOL 14 give aways and 6 take away and rarely shoots and then misses anyway LOL

Most players seem basically the same

NOT complaining - beautiful game

here's how to get them to shoot and pass and less holding and hold on longer

Pass Accuracy: 0-45 (will shoot and deke and lobb it at the net, deke out goalie, depending on these 5 setting : Puck Control, Deking Impact, Spin Deke Impacts , Skating Impact, Incidental Stick Contact Immunity ) - 45-100 (they will pass more and do fancy dekes and less shooting and more passing, more passes to slot , again less shooting) depending this too (Pass Reception Ease, Pass Reaction Time)

Puck Type Effect: 0-45 (less holding of puck and more shots and more lobbing at net and more deking (depending on pass accuracy and Pass Reception Ease, Pass Reaction Time) (depending on these 5 settings : incidental Stick Contact Immunity
Puck Control
Deking Impact
Spin Deke Impact
Skating Impact)
Puck Type Effect: 45-100 (more holding on to the puck and less shots, like will hold on forever and less shots and will carry it into zone and try to deke out goalie ) (again depends on impacts in Puck Control section)

another setting that helps with all of them is this : Puck Control Rating Effect,
Puck Speed Reception Effect, Bouncing Puck Receptions, Aggression.

now if u want more dekes and stuff more shots

set these too

Puck Control: CPU: 35 / Human: 35 (means more puck control and carrying it zone or less carrying it too zone , makes AI CPU Goalie hard to score on)
Deking Impact: CPU: 25 / Human: 25 (or CPU: 20 / Human: 20)
Spin Deke Impact: CPU: 25 / Human: 25 (or CPU: 20 / Human: 20
Skating Impact: CPU: 45 / Human: 45

No idea about simming/watching CPU games. I just play games with a custom slider set where I try to make the game more sloppy. When AE goes up, the sloppy gets REALLY sloppy which makes the gap between 1st and 4th liners way too noticeable imo.

There's probably a way to make AE 7+ work with the right tinkering/rosters/sliders, but I haven't had nearly as much success/fun with that as I have with me AE 5 set combined with my CaP's/custom rosters.
