Franchise Mode Slow Sim CPU vs CPU
Hello all,
Me and a couple of buddies started an online CFM, where we take the role of owners and staff/team build. I have a series X, but my two buddies have the now "old gen" Xbox, which I have to play on the non series x version if madden 21. The way we play is we go into our user controlled games, and immediately at kickoff pick "supersim" and chage the speed to "slow" and watch the whole game while we all chat. We play with the following settings:
Difficulty: All pro
Time: 14 Min Quarters with 14 sec rundown
Sliders: default
Speed: 25
Injury:10
Fatigue: 50
Some issues I've noticed are on offense mostly. The QB (especially scheme fit "field general" and "strong arm") get caught in an animation when passing, where if no one is open the QB will drop back repeatedly until taking a sack 10-15 yards. It happens more so in certain playbooks that have more deep shots down field.
Playbooks and schemes seem to matter more than the players fitting that scheme (so avoid any scheme involving field general or strong arm), which makes this not enjoyable. When I play the series x version this is not a problem as the pocket style QB's seem to actually throw the ball away when no ones open from the pocket.
I was just wondering if anyone else here plays like we do as "acting owners" and just team build and watch your teams play, and if you do play like this, which plahbooks have you found to be most effective putting up points on offense?
Hope to hear some feedback!
