Hey, all, happy new year. Curious about something. Started a new dynasty last night after some time away and realized the AI teams don't sign Colin Kap and he disappears out of the free agents list after the season.

Curious if anyone knows the mechanics. Is he just in to be signed by the HUM and if not he disappears? You also get a unique message when you sign him—something like, "Congratulations, you signed Colin Kaepernick."

I’ve seen him get signed before. Usually by the colts in season 1. A lot of times he’s released after preseason. I’ve seen him signed a few times in season 2. Even once as a starter. Never noticed him disappear though.

My first franchise he was signed by Denver, my current franchise I edited him down from 81 ovr and he disappeared by the regular season

Same here. He always goes to Denver in mine, and I edit him in preseason so he gets released and fades away. I do the same when Falcons sign Josh Gordon.

I’ve yet to see him disappear year 1. Starting at the WC week, he has been signed by the Colts in free agency and Denver in the regular season.

Could be I have career clock off though.

In year 1 of my CFM, using the edited roser I released, the Titans signed him in week 16/17 of the regular season because Tannehill got hurt. He started in their Wild Card loss.

I started a CFM over the weekend from the current spot in the season and he was one of the top QB's in FA. The Colts signed him in week one of FA for like $27 mill/yr. I changed him to a punter, made his ratings very low, and made his salary basically nothing so they could go in a more realistic direction at QB.

I've seen him sign numerous times with a team in the offseason. Usually not for much, but he appears on the list of top FAs which is NOT realistic at all
