Next-Gen Bank Shot Layups?

Sorry if this is answered somewhere else. But I can’t find any detailed intel about bank shot layups on next gen. If I miss one more layup off the back iron over a shorter defender...

It seems like there are some “secret controls” that are hinted at but not really explained. Would appreciate any info/links anyone could provide. Thanks

I believe it's glitched somehow with shot aiming. I hate laying up a good shot only for it to go 5ft directly above the rim before going in instead of hitting the backboard, I only use it for layups tho. To do consistent bank shots whether layups or shots in general you need to use shot timing. You start the shot by pulling the right stick down and swing it up fast in a half circle motion and release in the green.
