Just to let you know, I do use the modified broadcast cam for some of the plays since I know a lot of us like using it. I also show stuff from the normal broadcast cam and the default cam. In addition, I do a full comparison of the sidelines so you guys can see for yourselves what has changed at all there.

It's the EXACT same game just running on a newer graphics card.

I’ve played a few games on the series X. Even played a good online game but boy they look almost identical. The lighting is of course better but that’s about it visually. Sort of disappointed especially after their initial reveal trailer back in the summer and even poorer compared to NBA 2k21 and FIFA 21.

While no one expected a leap, there wasn't even a half effort for a hop. *EA just sucks man. *I've always been hard on them but would've given them at least q bit of props if they made some distinctive changes for next gen like a new commentary team or new art direction/assets with these bare minimum additions to the current unspectacular gameplay given that it's a free upgrade. *But they are so underwhelming and only innovative in everything *else that doesn't matter to football simulation and immersion.

There aren't huge graphical leaps for sure, but I do think even in the 4K video it still goes under appreciated that the next-gen version does just play smoother from an FPS standpoint.

Like playing from our hacked OS Broadcast cam just feels better and smoother on the PS5 over PS4.

Just to be clear the hacked OS Broadcast cam is the trick where you switch to a specific player then change views and it starts really wide broadcast and moves toward the field? You can snap it when you are comfortable with how much field is visible? Just checking. I wanted to make sure I am not missing out on anything.

Yeah, correct. On PC we could do more to just have a modified camera -- and it's silly we don't have more camera options on console either way -- but the same trick still works here.
