Why does Pressure fighting still have a huge advantage?

Why is pressure fighting still easier to use than defensive and counter fighting online? I really do not understand this. Why can you not have more of a simulation mode then? EA has never tried a simulation type mode. Why don’t they at least try one and see how successful it is? Really tired of the non stop punching with no penalties. Penalties should at least be more severe.

It is unbelievable. I would love to hear from one of the developers that actually play this online. It’s so much harder to fight defensive, counter, and pick shots. I am almost starting to think UFC 3 is more realistic in this area. I can not wait for the esports boxing game to come out. I am so frustrated right now.

Even after the update ?!!!

Slip shots got a huge buff and there is stamina tax on the 3rd strike and more after that in any long combo ?

Hmmmm.

I am feeling more balance with the patch. The pressure backs off pretty quick if you slip and tire them out. Not perfect but more manageable than before.

I was close to unbeatable at striking on ufc 3. I have been getting murdered by pressure on ufc UNTIL this patch. Every match today I made my opponent gas and landed an amazing KO. It was amazing.

Well the things you guys are saying is good to hear. I guess I just need to get better at not letting my block get broken.

Block slip man, it's much easier to gas them now and if you're feeling confident in not slipping into a strike, counter them. With the extra counter damage and all they'll definitely have to back up.

While your playing remember the 3rd strike and on are gonna cost them on long term stamina. So if they spam 4-5 punch combos and you attack their body, they will have 0 stamina by the 3rd. I have noticed a lot of pressure strikers now spamming clinch and takedowns cause they don't know how to strike without running forward throwing 10 punch combos.
