Visual Settings Next Gen HDR on or Off

I am on PS5 and I feel like the game looks better with HDR off. With it on I feel like the game looks a little washed out. I am on LG TV that has 4k and HDR. Just curious what settings people are using.

i tested out HDR on my PC with several games and felt like it looked Bad and washed out every time. might be that HDR from my Monitor is just Not Good enough. might be the same with your TV.

I have it turned on and messed with a couple of settings to get it looking good. I think there is an issue with HDR Currnetly. I expect a patch will fix it.

It could be the way how 2k just didn't implement HDR correctly for NBA2k. I remember RDR2 had a bad HDR experience when it was first released.

Off. But my TV is a lower end TV as well. Colours pop better without it for me.

2K does not implement HDR well, I have tried all methods..HDR on, HDR off, HDR was just way too bright, HDR off gave better colors.

Other games give you the option to choose HDR color settings in game, hopefully 2K makes this possible in the future.

If you are playing 2K, I would turn it off but turn it on for games that offer HDR settings

I personally think it looks better on but it’s seems like it must be tv dependent.......the tv I bought last year had HDR as one of its pros on CNEt and other review sites I used for research....... with hdr off the game looked almost cartoonish for me

I’m hoping they can add a patch with more warmth & color saturation. Some courts/uniforms are a true eye sore. Especially Lakers/staples center.
