Good afternoon! I have been around for a while, but don’t post. I really enjoy soccer games and struggling this year. I have both PES and FIFA 21. Just want to see what people think of the two titles.

I know this is the FIFA forum and will also post in the PES forum.

I never play PES. I've tried it once or twice but I've always played FIFA going up. PES just doesn't feel right.

I'm loving FIFA this year. I play almost exclusively offline career modes. Usually, I'll play through the first season, then get bored at some point during the second season and start a new one. This year, I'm on my fourth season of my Watford career mode and I'm still going strong. Career mode is much deeper than normal years, and all of the elements come together far more seamlessly than other editions - youth academy, development plans, objectives, etc.

Some elements of the gameplay are frustrating, but the OS Community sliders improve the gameplay hugely, and I feel like it's one of the more balanced titles in years.

I'm having fun with CM this year, but even so, CM is still too easy, attacking play remains OP and the defensive system is rubbish, and the AI still isn't good enough.

It's a mediocre game that I play only because I love the sport.
