Boxing Gloves, Bare Knuckle, K1 Venues and more are coming to UFC 3 Undisputed

I wanted to highlight something that got me damn excited and I think would be a great addition to UFC 4. These modders are doing the work the hardcore community want to see from EA.



1) Boxing Gloves. I know clipping might be an issue but I doubt many of us are pausing the gameplay frame by frame and checking. For the stand up only mode, take the existing gloves in the game that are available for CAFs, the puffy ones, and make them bigger by x2 or just increase the padding on the knuckle area and that would be great.



2) K1 mode. We already have the rules almost in place in UFC 3 and 4, but what we need are the gloves. Take the ropes from the Kumite arena and swap it out for the Octagon cage on all the existing venues in UFC 4 and I think it could work. The difficult part is adding a ref count but it's not entirely necessary. The visuals are the important thing and EA has shown they can swap out Roster Fighter attire on the fly. Just let us use the Muay Thai gear from Kumite, mixed with boxing gloves and the ropes from that arena also.


3) Bare knuckle. Not something that will happen in UFC 4 but it would be cool to see. Definitely something that would benefit the game in terms of bringing more hype to it. More so than clowns or halloween costumes I think.


In the heavy bag training mode from career mode, you can see a boxing ring in the background. The ropes on that actually look darn perfect. Can we not use those assets for a K1 octagon?


Seeing as UFC has extended the license for years to come, these are some of the things that would be good. I haven't been this excited in a while!

Is undisputed 3 on pc or is it a modded ps3 or 360.

Works on all 3 I believe. PC via emulator, jailbroken PS3 and modded Xbox 360. Still figuring out how to set it up but the guy is helping out over on their discord.

He's way ahead of us dude, already in the Discord group and all over the content creation afaik. He's making stuff for the mod too from what I read.

Yeah Vet is already in there and hard at work and I just joined. I'm going to start with basic mods like the arenas and see how far we can take it.

Haha wow. This is actually pretty neat. I’ve seen a lot of ppl taking interest in this game again. There’s Even a CAF centric FB group specifically for UD3.

Still to this day the best CAF system hands down. The custom art and scars alone were awesome additions.

Really hope Ufc5 picks it up a bit in terms of customization. So disappointed with ufc4 CAF.

I love the customization in the creation of the CAF, I am very disappointed with this UFC 4 where it is not that it has improved with respect to previous EA UFC games, on the contrary it worsened in almost everything.

We can save the same amount of CAF (only 22) when I expected to have hundreds of them, although we have more than a hundred different types of hairstyles, many of them are not good, especially for the female gender, as in female bodies we continue With only 4 different ones, the range of hair color is still very scarce, and so many more details that would improve the creation, but if there is something that really leaves it very bad, it is in the impossible customization in the statistics and movements of our created fighters.

It may seem silly, but for me, they have not been successful in most of the accessories for sale.

One that I would have bought had I not put on a stupid wig, it would be the head protection accessory, the helmet that has 4 color options, and that is that I would have used it to make non-professional fighting leagues, where create and start from the bottom of everything, but adding that absurd wig I discard it.
