I just dont understand it at this point, and Im talking solo matchmaking, not having to squad up first which defeats the purpose.

Yea I know more info is coming, but they already announce the "3v3 multiplayer experience" is "exclusive to The W".

The infrastructure is there with The Rec, and Events like Rush, Formula 2K and now The W.

If its for Ads then courts, backboards and billboards can display their partners' logos.

If it because people want to avoid "toxic and braindead" players. Make it a no rep awarded option or better yet using the average teammate grade to build teams.

I truly don't understand, its a million ways to monetize it if that is ultimately the only reason its not an option.

Yeah I would agree. The Got Next system blows unless you have endless amounts of time at your disposal.

Agreed. I don’t have time to wait around on that stupid blue circle. It takes forever. Why can’t I just get into a park game auto created quickly. The new stuff presented today for the city looks fun. But love there to be an option just to play now and it auto matches you.

Yep new stuff looks cool, but after 2 months it will become stale.

Focusing too much on the flare than the gameplay loop in my opinion. I get on to play the game, not run around the environment.

Hopefully the events that do have matchmaking last at least 24hours and not 4-6 hours or whatever they have been so far

The worst part about waiting on the circles is that you can't do literally anything else. You can go into the menus and edit your badges. You can't increase your ratings. You can press up and check the scores for each court.

But for the life of me, I do not understand why 2K actually thinks that people want to watch someone else play from the worst POV in the game, rather than playing the game themselves. I can't even see the game, because me and my squad are standing in the way, so I need to turn the camera and basically watch everything from the worst sideline angle I've ever seen.

Remove this system, and just go back to menu-based matchmaking. Or hey, leave both in, and give people the option to spectate games, if they so choose.

Yeah would be cool to have an option to do anything in the game while waiting on the spot and have an auto-save when the game starts. I hardly play park though, this is why I play mostly Rec or sometimes Pro-Am.
