DFMF 20 Content Update - Available Now on PS4 (1.08) & soon for Xbox (4.0.87)

ATTENTION XBOX USERS

Unfortunately, in order for yesterday's update to take effect, you are going to have to delete your save data from your console and the cloud (delete everywhere).

Here is the problem. Last weekend when we released on PS4, the game was broken and you had to delete the game in order for the content update to take effect. The reason why was the way Sony compiled our patch with our core game, it created duplicate files of the teams, plays, etc. Which led to people not being able to enter a game because the game had duplicate files.

The Xbox and PS4 version of the game is the same. The Xbox's update that went live yesterday has the fix for this. However, it means it will no longer read that old data.

Which we're extremely disappointed that we have to now tell Xbox users they have to delete their data after we were telling PS4 users this last weekend.

With that said, going forward there should not be any issues with save data. PS4 had no issues with yesterday's update and we expect that to be the same with Xbox now. We deeply apologize about this because we know how important the save data is to the game. It's been a very rough couple weeks for our small team.

*Here are the updates that are included in this patch: *

[Dynasty] Fixes scholarships being returned after commits to that team.

[Dynasty] Changed depth chart process to address special teams players.

[Dynasty] Update to walk-on player generation. Checks for a team's roster size before generating walk on's for that team.

[Dynasty] Validates a user's depth chart as soon as the season starts so that it should not be blank.

[Dynasty] Made a small change to recruit commitments from yesterday's update.

This update seems to have reverted back to the old gameplay where I can move the ball way too easily with the lowest rated team (playing with all sliders at 1).

No gameplay code was touched in the update, it was just Dynasty updates.

If you are on Xbox and you created them before .85 - then unfortunately you will lose them. It's the same process the PS4 users went through last weekend.

Wasn't .85 the first patch that went live for XBOX the day after release? If so, I didn't create any logos until after that first patch, so would this mean I don't have to delete the saves?

No .85 went live Friday night - so it means any save data before that patch has to be unfortunately deleted.

.87 is now live and there are no issues carrying over saves from .85 to .87 and we don't expect it to be a problem going forward.

No, I think the first was like 4.0.78. Update 4.0.85 showed up on Xbox late last week...
