I bought the first one and had no hesitation buying this. It’s not perfect but it’s fun and for the price excellent value. Hope this time that DLC integrates into career mode!

Almost wish this had been a $30 upgrade to first game. Having all six race styles and all the tracks and deeper career options in one game would have been amazing.
Maybe they’ll add the other car types in a dlc pack or update

I've been playing this a bit, just a few races into a Street Stock career. I'm glad the review mentions the difficulty - I'm racing against Normal AI, and my car is so bad I can barely get to 35th place.

Money is definitely a challenge, so that's probably good.

I found it a little more difficult to control the car with a controller than the Sprint Car game, so I had to add a little bit of stability assist, but otherwise, I'm running most assists off or very low.

I think the game is great, but I was really wanting a game like this (like Saturday Night Speedway), and I never expected one to get to consoles. And to think it's actually pretty high quality with a decent career mode!

Graphics are fine, nothing too special. Dirt adds up on the cars which is nice.

Oh, one other major bonus: Load times are fast (base PS4) and once you are in the races, going from heat to heat and up to mains is lightning fast. That is so appreciated!

I finally picked this up after seeing positive reviews and I agree on the improvement from the sprint car game. Personally, I'm always going to prefer sprint cars but this game improves on a lot of things. Physics have improved and the cars feel more realistic. The paint booth is a fantastic improvement and works well. I hope they follow up with another sprint car game where that paint booth is implemented as well. Career mode also has some solid improvements. I haven't made it very far but I'm liking the potential. As another commentator stated, I wish the street stocks had a couple more models to give some variety.

I'm hoping this developer continues improving their product. I'd love to see these improvements and more make their way into new sprint car game. As previously mentioned, real tracks would be amazing. I'd also enjoy seeing 360s added to mix.

For those who haven't picked up either game, Monster Games just announced that WalMart is carrying a retail bundle for $39.99 which is a decent grab.

I wonder if they may do a digital bundle or make it one big "digital" game, so no changing games out.

"Putting in some late hours the last couple weeks... But, these new models are going to be awesome! Can't wait to share more information soon!"

Sounds promising, we may be getting (potentially DLC) some new vehicle types.

I really want to like this game. But the races more closely resemble a demolition derby than an actual big block modified race. The AI will not race with you, they just plow into you, slam you into the wall, and go on about their business. Also they need a difficulty slider like the sprint car game. On hard I win the pole and dominate every race. On expert I’m lucky to compete for top 5a in the D main. Too big a jump in between difficulty levels.

Looks like Late Models are coming Oct. 23rd. Unclear whether this is free DLC or paid. They can be used in career mode (including existing careers).
